WRCT 88.3FM Pittsburgh
WRCT is Carnegie Mellon's student operated radio station. We broadcast original freeform programming to all of Pittsburgh 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I've been an active member since 2019 and since joining I've produced several weekly radio shows and held multiple positions ranging from administrative to technical.
Roles and Responsibilities
Chief Engineer
2022 - 2023
As Chief Engineer I lead WRCT's engineering staff and general members as part of the Executive Board. I am primarily responsible for managing, maintaining, repairing, and improving critical pieces of the station’s hardware and software systems, including several web applications, databases, virtual machines, and servers.
Information Systems Manager
2021 - 2022
My responsibilities as ISM included maintaining and improving WRCT's innumerable software systems that we relied on for broadcasting and running weekly engineering hours to teach newer members about the station's technical systems.
External Music Director
2020 - 2021
As external music director I was responsible for reporting weekly plays to the NACC radio charts and communicating with music labels and artists to obtain new music for the station's library. I was also in charge of securing talant for live shows in the station.
My Radio Shows
Scrambled Eggs
Scrambled Eggs is my weekly music show
featuring a wide variety of genres of every week.
Some Poems
Some Poems was a weekly PA show I produced in the Fall of 2020
and Spring of 2021. It featured poems from around the world and across
the ages, as well as works from local writers and favorites from friends.

I recorded and edited Some Poems from home using Audacity and hosted
guests remotely. I ran workshops for other station members who wanted to learn
to produce their own shows from home during the pandemic.

Heavy Lobster Live From Studio A
I performed live on air with my band Heavy Lobster to
promote the release of our first EP.
